Update · October 1, 2026
Teto has shut down. The Chrome extension is no longer maintained, no longer works, and is no longer listed in the Chrome Web Store. The web app and API have also been retired.
Teto is shutting down on October 1, 2026
Hey everyone,
I have some bad news. On October 1, 2026 I'm turning Teto off.
I don't have enough time to keep maintaining the service anymore, and it costs me money every month to keep it online. I've been putting this decision off for a long time, but I can't justify it any longer.
I'm sad about it. I built Teto to make learning Estonian easier, and I know some of you use it every day. It was never a big project, but it was mine, and shutting it down sucks.
What this means:
- Teto keeps working as usual until October 1, 2026.
- After that date the extension, the web app and the API will stop working.
I'd really love to keep it running. So if you're a developer who wants to take over the project, or someone willing to support it with serious money, I'm open to discussion. Write me:
@paneelmaja
Thanks to everyone who used Teto all this time. Aitäh.
Adam
